One day in my life
Joka aamu herään kello kuusi. Nousen sängystä ja menen kylpyhuoneeseen. Pesen kasvot ja harjaan hampaat. Sitten menen keittiöön ja teen aamiaista.
Syön puuroa ja juon kahvia. Joskus syön myös munaa ja leipää. Aamiainen on pieni mutta hyvä. Luen lehteä puhelimesta.
Kello seitsemän puen takin ja kengät. Lähden työhön bussilla. Bussi on usein täynnä. Matka kestää kaksikymmentä minuuttia.
Olen töissä kello kahdeksasta neljään. Työpaikkani on toimistossa. Pidän työstäni. Kollegat ovat mukavia.
Lounas on kello kaksitoista. Syön ruokalassa. Lounas on yleensä keitto tai salaatti.
Illalla menen kotiin. Teen ruokaa lapsille ja vaimolleni. Syömme yhdessä. Lapset puhuvat koulusta.
Kello yhdeksän luen lapsille kirjaa. Sitten katson uutiset televisiosta. Kello yksitoista menen nukkumaan. Olen väsynyt mutta tyytyväinen.
English translation
Every morning I wake up at six. I get out of bed and go to the bathroom. I wash my face and brush my teeth. Then I go to the kitchen and make breakfast.
I eat porridge and drink coffee. Sometimes I also eat an egg and bread. Breakfast is small but good. I read the news on my phone.
At seven I put on my jacket and shoes. I leave for work by bus. The bus is often full. The trip takes twenty minutes.
I am at work from eight to four. My workplace is in an office. I like my job. The colleagues are nice.
Lunch is at twelve. I eat in the canteen. Lunch is usually soup or salad.
In the evening I go home. I cook food for the children and my wife. We eat together. The children talk about school.
At nine I read the children a book. Then I watch the news on TV. At eleven I go to sleep. I am tired but content.
